BAS Engineering & Projects Limited is committed to protection of the environment from adverse effects consequent to its activities to a practicable minimum by protecting and preserving the air, water, soil, animals and plant life.
This will be achieved by:
- Ensuring that all its activities are carried out in conformance with the relevant environmental legislation of Bangladesh (BD) as well as other Contractual requirements.
- Seeking to minimize arising, promote recycling, reduce energy consumption and harmful emissions.
- Enforcing procedural control over generation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes with particular emphasis on the consumption of electricity, fuel and water.
- Promoting awareness of employees to develop prevention-oriented work attitude.
- Communicating the policy, obligations and responsibilities laid down by the management to all employees and making the policy available to the public on request.
